WILDLIFE

There is a variety of wildlife that can be seen throughout Skye. We were lucky to get a good sighting of a family of otters on a walk from Camasunary to Ruba an Dunan which we filmed and put on youtube.

Oystercatcher
Oystercatcher
Probably the noisiest shore bird, but very handsome!
Otters
Otters
Otters are less shy here than at inland river habitats. The best time to see them is in the early morning or evening or at low tide, along the coast throughout Skye. If you are on a sandy or muddy shore look for their prints. We photographed this one at Brother's point.
