SKYE IN WINTER

 The weather on Skye can be really bad during the winter with very strong winds and lots of rain. January and February are generally the worst months. ( Not this winter though - see News). However the weather changes very quickly and if you are lucky you can be rewarded with some fine days with light conditions for photography even better than in the summer. The autumn is particulary good with some lovely rusty browns and yellows and the bonus of snow capped mountains.
